Pediatrics: We recommend bringing your child in at the first sign of a tooth. The main purpose of this visit is to have your child get acclamated to coming to the dentist. When children grow up with pleasant dental experiences, they will never have a fear of the dentist! Primary (baby) teeth are essential to healthy child development. It is very important that these teeth are cared for so they will not cause pain or discomfort, as well as to maintain the space for developing permanent teeth.
Teenagers: Good oral hygiene is extremely important at all ages but sometimes is not the primary concern of teenagers. It is essential that teens stay on a routine recall with flouride treatment to help prevent decay. Patients in braces need to have especially good hygiene to have beautiful teeth when their orthodontics are completed! We work closely with several local orthodontists to ensure routine cleanings, exams, and flouride are on schedule!
Adults: Treatment options are always explained thoroughly while we strive to provide the best treatment for each and every patient. Older people produce less saliva which is needed to clean the teeth. Gums shrink with age, exposing the tooth to decay or infection.
